Heather Skowood moved to Manchester from Philadelphia USA in late 2002 and in Spring 2003 opened her jewellery business at the Manchester Craft and Design Centre. She landed her first UK jewellery exhibition in April 2003 which opened at Urbis, Manchester. Heather regularly exhibits her jewellery in Manchester, throughout the UK and US . Her studio is currently located at Cow Lane Studios, Salford where she produces architectural inspired silver jewellery for men and women who demand attention. Allison Clarke graduated as a theatre designer with first class honours in 1981. She works primarily in music theatre and is particularly interested in design for unusual venues. She is chief designer for the Manchester based theatre company 'Feelgood Theatre Productions' (feelgoodtheatre.com). Some of her recent designs for feelgood include: "Wind in the Willows" in Heaton Park, "Romeo and Juliet" at the Dance house and a performance of Mussorgsky's ?Pictures at an Exhibition? accompanied by a visual spectacle in Castlefield Basin.
