- Paulette Bansal & Jackie Anderson
Jackie Anderson and Paulette Bansal met whilst studying at De Montfort University. They both completed a degree in Textile Design. Jackie pursued a career as a Fabric and Fashion Buyer in London and the Midlands. Paulette went on to study a MA Course in Textiles at Manchester Metropolitan University, and then pursued a career in Teaching Art and Design in the North West of England. Paulette and Jackie have both taken on freelance work throughout their careers covering various areas of surface design. This has involved areas such as print designs for fashion, greeting cards, shop sign and corporate identity, banners and artwork for offices. More recently, they found themselves living in the North West of England at the same time. They began to study computer-aided design together on a course that has allowed their work to develop in a new direction. This has now encouraged them to embark on a new venture promoting affordable Art and Craft in the form of a small gallery, also offering an art and design service. This is in the early stages of planning and development.
