Manchester artist and designer, Peter Broadbent, created the Manchester Kids Cowlebrity. Peter is considered to be one of the leading designers of toys for young children and works for the largest toy companies on both sides of the Atlantic. Cowlebrity was brought to life by Manchester animation and production company, Cosgrove Hall, who interpreted the original design imaginatively. Both parties donated their services to Manchester Kids, the leading beneficiary of the Cow Parade Auction. Cosgrove Hall Films is Europe's largest and most prolific animation company and one of only a few in the world with the ability to produce all three types of animation (Drawn/2d, stop-motion puppet, CGI) under one roof. Created in 1976 by Brian Cosgrove and Mark Hall the company has gone from strength to strength and remains a leader in the art of animation. Sales to over 100 countries have confirmed the worldwide appeal of Cosgrove Hall productions, as has a constant accolade of national and international awards including six BAFTAs and three international Emmys.
