Title: Precious Cow Location: The Manchester Museum Artist: Emma Dibb Sponsor: The Manchester Museum, The University of Manchester If you've not been to the recently refurbished and expanded Manchester Museum then this cow gives you even more of an excuse. Precious has been created by children who followed the Sculpture Trail at Chorlton Arts Festival in May 2004. As they passed the cow they were invited to grab a handful of acrylic gems and cover the cow. This informal course in bovine decoration was filmed on time-lapse cameras for posterity.
